Get to know your local trees

You'll appreciate our street trees more if you know what you're looking at. Our co-organiser Paul has charted the species of almost every tree on the Southwark side of Herne Hill, while Jeff is creating tree maps of our estates and other green spaces.

STREET GUIDES: Every tree on every street in our neighbourhood listed, located and named. This is a big project, so we'll be adding streets one by one as time allows and updating the guides with newly planted trees.

ESTATE MAPS: Every tree in the public areas of our housing estates mapped and identified. We're starting with Delawyk Crescent in August 2024 and will be working up to the other estates on Herne Hill, Red Post Hill and Sunray Avenue
