Southwark council planted 49 trees in the streets and housing estates of Herne Hill during the 2025/26 planting season (Nov 1-March 31). Details below. The new arrivals included 13 evergreen trees, a marked change from earlier seasons, and several broadleaf species that hadn't previously been seen here.
